前言: 今次嘅大阪京都之旅有著和服嘅打算，最後有緣搵到一間小店。老闆娘 Hitomi 細心為客人著和服，見 Hitomi 可以用基本英文溝通，我就邀請佢分享同和服有關嘅故事。
1. Can you share with us your background?
I am from Kyoto and I started to run this shop three years ago. I worked in a kimono (和服) shop in the past and now I have my own business.
2. Do all Japanese learn how to wear kimono at home? Do you need to have test or exam to run the shop?
I guess nowadays not all Japanese learn from their family. I myself learn how to wear kimono from a friend. You don’t need to sit for exam in order to run a kimono shop.
3. When do Japanese usually wear kimono? Is there any special meaning behind?
We usually wear on wedding day, 20-year old ceremony and new year. Sometimes Japanese wear kimono while they travel. The wearing of kimono is especially popular in Kyoto, mostly to celebrate.
4. How do you feel when you are wearing kimono?
I feel good. I like it because this is a Japanese tradition.
5. You speak good English. Do you learn English in Japan or outside Japan?
I only learn English in middle school and high school, but I like travelling a lot and that’s why I can speak a little English.
